i woke up to thunder this morning. my whole life i have had 4 greatest fears... rats, stingrays, getting kidnapped, and thunder/lightning. usually when hearing thunder i duck and cover or try to act casual but secretly start sweating. but this morning for some unanswered reason i heard this thunder and i felt excited. it has been so burning hot here lately and i feel that these sounds are the sounds of fall rolling in! fall is my favorite time of year in provo. the leaves change, the weather is perfect, the boots, dresses, and sweaters come out. and things finally start to feel settled.

i am obsessed with my classes. i recently switched my major from international relations to communications - public relations and man i have never been happier with my education. everyday i am literally in awe at something i learned.

in other news. my sister elle is going on a mission to russia. she has always been the example to me. she is patient, kind, smart, fun, beautiful, everything you could ever want in a sister and friend. her willingness to give up a year and a half of her life to serve the lord and spread the gospel is amazing. the people of russia are going to find so much light and happiness in her presence and message.

everything else is amazing. my apartment is so great. my roommates never cease to make me smile and laugh. (on sunday i came home to jessi and 20 of her korean friends in my apartment having a pot luck!) i love them. i love life. i love you all!
