nerd alert. ok so i have turned into the ultimate nerd. my friends and i thought it was bad when we spent the last 3 saturdays at our usual harold b. lee 4th floor "pilgrim" table. but last night jen and i out did ourselves.

so the library closes every night at the strike of midnight. at 11:45 they start playing extremely loud obnoxious music to clear the stragglers. i hate this time of the library. picture this (me last week): i has been at the library for 8 hours (same place, same chair) i was studying for my third test of the week and was going through my last powerpoint review-the kind where if you accidently press esc or the x in the top corner the whole thing disappears and you have to re-download and start over.... ya a bummer.... so there i was, after about 30 min of going through this powerpoint, and..... "Sweet Home Alabama" blasts through the library. i dont know how many more slides are left, but i have to finish before i leave or else i will have to do the whole thing over... my heart is racing, i literally am sweating, as i frantically am writing down notes, then "Beat It" by MJ starts to play..... i was so stressed. moral of story: i get very nervous when 11:45 begins to approach.

anyway... me and jen last night... we were at the pilgrim table and the music started to play, this time not such heart racing music, just some coldplay. but we were far from done with our work. we again had been there for way too many hours (6, ya college life has become so eventful).

so we didnt want to go home yet and our friend brady informed us that the clyde science building on campus stays open all night. so we walked over there at 12 am and it was locked, so brady came down and opened the door. it was dark inside as we followed him up 3 flights of stairs and into a room that only opened with a code. we both laughed and quietly joined the secret society of study obsessors.

it was great.

oh and i just found out the test i spent all night studying for isn't until next week. bittersweet.

finally after a month of social seclusion, this weekends festivities include:

-girl trip to ogden for whitney's miss utah pageant. she will win.

-murder mystery dinner/party.
