home sweet encinitas.

im a bit late on this post but a few weeks ago i took a road trip home for the weekend. my roommates and the toolson girls decided we needed alittle adventure out of provo and drove down. the weather wasnt ideal but we were more than happy to be near the ocean.

there was a storm that passed through but it made for a beautiful sunset, unfortunately the wind had not calmed down which made some beautiful photos as well.

since we arent used to rain in san diego, when it started coming down, we werent sure what to do, so i took the girls to la jolla, we did alittle sightseeing and saw the seals at seal beach and went to the temple. i also finally got to the new sprinkles cupcakes. which was awesome.

luckily we did get in alittle but of sun. and of course went to the beach.

and i got in a couple days of nephew time. i cant even put into words the love i have for this little boy. i just stare and hover, which prob will drive him nuts in a few months but for now i smother him in love.

everytime i go home i realize how fortunate i am. i have such an amazing family and got to grow up in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

i am already looking forward to getting home again. JUST 2 SHORT WEEKS! an just 3 weeks till my whole family is reunited again! my sister is coming home from a 1.5 year mission in Russia!
