eventful weekends.

for presidents day i got to go home! i was getting pretty homesick for the warmth and sun and my amazing fam so on fri whitney and i left provo at 4 am and flew into long beach to meet up with the kids there and go to disneyland. i got to see all of dylans fam so that was way fun. i love them all. warning: never go on the the california adventure ferris wheel. it is terrfiying and makes you so sick, we were all dieing after.

i got food poisoning from "fiesta grill" the masons favorite place in huntington. it wasnt too fun. and then my mom picked up whit and i and we headed to my home, encinitas. on sat we went to swamis cafe and shopped around the 101. hung out with gma and relaxed. sunday we went to church and watched the sunset at beacons.

monday we hiked torrey pines and went back to swamis cafe. then chase and

his friend stephen came down and we went to la jolla and downtown. i forgot how great downtown is. san diego is such a beautiful and clean city! i have alot of pride in it! monday night whitney flew back to provo and i went with the fam to sammy's. my bro ty and i were ecstatic to find that you can get a mountain of cotton candy for dessert! we went overboard and felt alittle ill.

tuesday my mom and i hung out with my gma and we ran last minute errands before i needed to head back to provo that night. when i got to the airport at 5 my flight got delayed and delayed and delayed until finally around 10 my mom picked me up and i changed my flight to the next morning

it was such a nice getaway, every time i go home i feel luckier for having such an opportunity to grow up in such an amazing place!

some more news.... oh the life of a college kid. this past fri morning my friends spend an hour telling me why i should join them for 2 days in vegas. let me tell you it took some convincing but it was such a great time. we saw the cirque de soleil show O and it was unbelievable. we also saw the EC twins mix for free, went to the opening day of the sugar factory and we met Mitchell from my absolute favorite show modern family! sometimes unplanned last second things end up the funnest!
